Hard Reset

A hard reset is a so-called hard reset of the device, which deletes all data from the smartphone. To carry out such an operation may be necessary for many reasons, for example, when you get a trivial virus in the system. The procedure does not take much time, and you can perform it on any phone. As a result of the reset, the device will start with the original settings. Your data will be missing, including photos, videos, music, files, and various applications.

Hard Reset can be performed in two ways: through the recovery menu (Recovery) and smartphone settings. In the first case, you need to hold the power button and the volume up key. Removing the memory card and SIM card from the phone is also recommended to avoid errors. In the menu that appears, go to “Wipe and Reset” and select “Wipe All Data”. Confirm the procedure by clicking “Yes”. The device will boot up with the original settings when the reset is completed.

You can also reset your phone to its original state via settings. Just open “About phone” menu, and select “Backup and reset”. Then go to “Delete all data” and click “Reset settings”.

This method is more optimal because everything is done automatically without finding the right section in the recovery menu.
