If we’re talking about face unlocking on Xiaomi smartphones, it’s much easier. No sensors in the phone analyze the structure of the person’s face. The usual front camera is responsible for everything, so the accuracy of the unlock is slightly worse. And in the total absence of light, it won’t be possible to unlock the phone by face. However, despite this, people actively use Face ID technology and are happy with such an option.
