A driver is a special software that allows your computer to communicate properly with a connected device. Such a device can be a phone, tablet, video card, or other devices. All components work in a single cycle, so no errors occur.
When you connect the phone via a USB cable, the necessary drivers are automatically installed on the computer. This lets the PC know that your smartphone is connected to it, not a flash drive or keyboard. Usually, the necessary software is downloaded automatically. The user is only notified accordingly.
But sometimes, the necessary drivers must be installed manually, especially for little-known devices. To do this, open the browser, enter the name of the desired device, and download the required software. Then perform a simple installation. And to update the drivers, open “Device Manager” in Windows and right-click on the device of interest.
In the window that appears, select “Update Driver”.
