Mi Assistant is a special assistant that lets you quickly access the desired application or service. This innovation first appeared in MIUI 9 firmware and is now in newer shell versions. To access the secret section, you need to go back to the beginning of the desktop and then swipe to the left.
The main features of Mi Assistant are as follows:
- Creation of notes. You can do this without installing third-party programs and specify the necessary information in a special field. It will be automatically saved, so you can always return to it.
- Quick access to shortcuts. Need to open the QR code scanner? Then click its icon in the secret menu.
- Using built-in tools. You don’t have to launch the corresponding app for a quick cleanup. You can go to the side menu and activate a specific option.
If necessary, sections can be swapped, and you can delete or add them. For example, you don’t need the “Events” item. Then go to the Mi Assistant menu and tap on the gear icon in the corner of the screen. Find a specific option and tap the minus (–) next to its name.
