The status bar is a panel with the main icons at the smartphone’s top. That is, it is the block where the information about the current battery charge, the level of the Internet signal, notifications from certain applications, and sound mode is collected. This concept should not be confused with the notification curtain, as these are slightly different things.
You can customize some of the icons displayed in the status bar. For example, you can add information about the current network speed or the percentage indication of the battery charge. On your Xiaomi phone, this is done as follows:
- Open settings.
- Go to the “Screen” section.
- Select “Status bar” and activate or deactivate certain settings.
If you want to change the design of icons in the status bar, use special applications such as Super Status Bar and Material Status Bar Notific. You can find other programs in the Play Store, but make sure they do not require root rights.
