Xiao Ai is a voice assistant created for Xiaomi devices. The proprietary development is supported by most of the brand’s products. The assistant is included by default in one of the leading models – Mi Mix 2S. As for other devices, if desired, the assistant can be installed manually from the app store.
Xiao Ai works perfectly with any component of the so-called “smart home”. All that is required from the user is to add the desired accessory to the appropriate application and wait for pairing. The virtual assistant will do the rest on its own.
The only disadvantage of the assistant is its language. It is adapted only for the Chinese market. Even English languages are not supported. This complicates the users’ tasks, but there is a probability that, in time, the developers will make their product more functional and accessible to a wide range of consumers.
