One-hand control is a special option that allows you to reduce the phone screen for more comfortable operation. As you know, modern smartphones are equipped with rather large displays, creating difficulties when using the device. This is especially true for smartphones with narrow screens.
Many people can’t reach the top corners of the phone with their fingers, so they have to hold the device with two hands. One-hand control mode is designed to solve this problem. You can activate it in the settings of your Xiaomi smartphone:
- Go to “Advanced Settings“.
- Open the tab “One-hand control“.
- Move the slider to the right near the only item. And just below that, select the display size displayed when the mode is turned on.
If you use gestures rather than on-screen buttons to control your smartphone, you can activate one-handed control in the “Touch Assistant” section. Now you can shrink the display at any time. You need to tap on the dark area to return it to its original state.
