Push notifications are special messages that appear on your smartphone or computer due to a special subscription. These notifications usually contain ads but can also include an offer to read new articles from a particular site. You can subscribe to these notifications on any browser but not on any web resource.
For example, you are on a site whose owner has enabled Push notifications. A window appears on the display of your smartphone or tablet with two buttons: “Allow” and “Block”. If you click on the second option, the window disappears, and nothing happens. But if you click the first button, the newsletter will automatically connect to your browser.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter in the settings of the selected web browser. Usually, you should follow the following path: “Advanced menu” → “Notifications” → “From sites” → “Prohibit sending notifications”. Notifications themselves are not harmful to your device but may interfere with your comfort.
