Power saving mode is a special option that allows you to prolong the work of your smartphone on a single battery charge. You can find a similar function in almost all modern devices, including Xiaomi phones. The principle of power saving mode is simple – the system limits the activity of services that consume the most battery power.
That is, it disables automatic synchronization and GPS. Then the background activity of some programs is blocked, and sometimes, the screen brightness is reduced. On Xiaomi phones, the mode is activated by default when the battery level is below 20%. To activate the power saving option, open the quick access curtain and click on the “Save” icon. And if you want to adjust the mode, hold your finger on the same icon.
This will take you to the settings, where you can select the optimal time to enable the option and activate the automatic shutdown.
