Developer mode is a special section in the Android operating system that allows you to activate hidden options. For example, this tab contains many functions, such as USB debugging, touch display, and GPU acceleration. You can also use this mode to find out the status of the bootloader, i.e., whether it is unlocked or locked. Initially, the section is usually hidden. But to display it, you need to tap on the “MIUI version” item in the settings a few times.
Afterward, you can go to the “Advanced Settings” section and open the “For Developers” tab. When accessing the option for the first time, you need to move the slider to the right next to the “Developer Mode” line. But if you don’t do this, all items will remain inactive.
