Enterprise mode is a special option that appeared on Xiaomi phones after the release of MIUI 10 firmware. It is of no use to the average user, especially a non-resident of China. However, registration in the system opens up a lot of useful features. First, you get full access to edit the MIUI. And secondly, the device is automatically granted root rights.
What is all this for? Well, it’s all used by companies that develop mobile software. They get full access to the source code of Xiaomi applications, Mi Cloud storage, smart home service, and so on. Chinese citizens who have received a local bank card can also register in the system. Initially, a test period is provided, and the option becomes paid.
