MEID

MEID is an identifier of mobile equipment designed to work in CDMA networks. Simply put, it is a unique number assigned to each phone at the manufacturing stage. It can consist of either 14 or 16 characters. Some manufacturers assign the same number to the GSM and CDMA networks. In this case, the abbreviation MEID is replaced by IMEI. In principle, it is the same. Both are the unique designation of a smartphone.

To find IMEI or MEID, open the dialing field and enter the command *#06#. Then press the call button and wait for the reply message. In the box that appears, the desired information will be indicated. If several SIM cards can be installed in the telephone, there will be some imei. This unique number can also be found on the phone box or under the battery cover (if it is removable).
