TWRP (TeamWin Recovery Project) is an improved recovery menu for most devices. Often they run the Android operating system. This “recovery” extends the standard features of the phone. For example, you can install custom firmware, uninstall system applications, and connect to a PC via USB in ADB or removable drive mode. This is not the end of the recovery menu, but it’s enough for a basic introduction.

TWRP Recovery can only be installed on a smartphone with an unlocked bootloader. You will also need a computer with ADB, and device-specific drivers installed. Then USB debugging is activated on the smartphone, and the recovery menu is installed directly. One of the main advantages of TWRP is the ability to roll back to a previous version of MIUI, thereby taking the device out of the “brick” state.
